First VR30 in the 9s 🥇
Looking back at TX2K20, we achieved the goal we went down there to reach. The 9 second mark in the quarter mile, becoming the first to do so on the VR30 platform with our in-house Q60 Red Alpha. With a time of 9.96 at 139mph, we set a new world record ⏱️
More than four years later, we’re still on top. Only going quicker and quicker, with a new record of 9.50 at 147mph ⚡️ Run by @dailyq50 powered by a Stage 3 built VR30 from AMS. With several more 1,000+whp VR30 builds currently underway in our shop, we look to continue widening the gap for the foreseeable future.
We don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon 😈 Next goal, first in the 8s. We are already well on our way there and are confident we will make it happen, sooner rather than later.
