It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness that I let the community know that our dear friend and longtime employee Dan Macro has passed away. Dan suffered a stroke this weekend while doing what he loved, riding dirt bikes.
I’ve known Dan for 12 years, he was a great team member and a great friend. I’ve spent a lot of time with Dan on work trips that always turned out to be hilarious fun because we’re both goofballs. I just went through some pictures, our travels took us to all parts of the world together, and it brought tears to my eyes.
Dan started off in sales at AMS and eventually moved to sales manager. Last year he moved to his dream position of tuning. Dan loved motorsports and every aspect of it. It was a running joke that Dan would have his hands in everything here if he could to help out. From shipping, wrenching, to sweeping the floors Dan would do it all if he had to.
I’ve spent a lot of time with Dan teaching him tuning and recently working on personal growth, we both learned from each other. Dan was always willing to learn, grow, and make us laugh. I’m still in shock that our friend is gone, and all I can think about right now is remembering him with the good times we had here and the celebrations together. Rest in peace my friend, we’ll always have you in our thoughts.
