🤯Introducing the ALPHA 8 package for the Infiniti Q50 & Q60🤯
As we look forward to where the platform is headed, we knew we had to have a higher horsepower offering for our customers. As we have done with the RA600 package that utilizes the Pure Stage 2 Turbos, we are incorporating the new Z1 VRX70B turbos for this prototype ALPHA 8 build. 👿
These turbos have been proven to be capable of mid-700 whp, but we knew we could turn up the wick on them, so at the request of our customer, our team did everything we could to get the most power out of this package. Keeping safety and reliability top of mind as always, this effort resulted in the record for most power using the Z1 Motorsports, Inc. VRX70B turbochargers, with a horsepower number of 827.78whp 📈
Utilizing almost the entire AMS Performance catalog for the platform, this Q60 is now making more than twice the power it left the factory with! 🐎 First and foremost, this Q60 makes use of our Stage 2 VR30 Long Block paired with the Z1 VRX70B turbochargers 🐌
This build is much more than an engine build and a set of turbos. As mentioned above, this vehicle features nearly our entire catalog of parts for the VR30 platform. Including our Red Alpha Cold Air Intake kit, VR30 Intercoolers, Heat Exchanger, CAN bus Flex Fuel kit, Stage 3 Direct Injectors, Stage 3 HPFP, LPFP, Aluminum Driveshaft, and the list goes on 📃
The observant viewer will notice this video is not in our usual setting. The team at Cannonball Garage was kind enough to let us use their Dynojet. This car made ~827whp on the Dynojet versus ~773whp on our Mainline hub dyno. This is consistent with the ~6-7% difference we have observed in the past.
