For all R35 GT-R owners that 60ft in the 1.5s or less, this relatively simple installation will work wonders keeping your GR6 transmission shifting consistent launch after launch. By significantly reducing the air being ingested into the pickup, it eliminates fluid starvation – a problem which can eventually damage the transmission.
The video shows a stationary GT-R running on our dyno, and how the fluid is drawn from the rear of the sump area rather than near the front. Aeration of the fluid is far worse during an actual launch when fluid is pushed to the rear of the sump due to inertia.
