The Alpha Omega was back in action this past weekend at the 2013 WannaGoFast Chicago 1/2 Mile Shootout! Omega ran both Saturday and Sunday consistently improving its trap speed after each pass. On its final pass down the runway on Sunday, Omega was able to trap 214mph! This earned Omega a 1st Place finish for this WannaGoFast event and the fastest trap speed ever recorded at any of their events! In addition, Omega was able to break a few other records including:
– 60-130mph: 3.00 seconds – the fastest overall street car record and R35 GT-R record
– Standing 1/2 Mile : 214mph – the fastest R35 GT-R in a 1/2 mile
– 0-300kph: 10.15 seconds – the quickest overall street car record and R35 GT-R record
