VIDEO: AMS Alpha 9 Nissan GT-R goes 10.1 @ 138 MPH on Pump Gas!
Last week we had a chance to take our Alpha 9 package equipped Nissan GT-R to the track for a chance to get some real world results and see what the package would do in the hands of a customer.
The vehicle has made 650 HP to the wheels on our AWD Mustang Dyno which would equal to about 710 WHP on our old Dynojet, we knew the car was capable of turning 10 second times. Not bad for a car that drives like stock and retains all of the factory comforts!
During the run the weather was cool at about 60 degrees but the track was slick. With limited traction in 1st and 2 second gear Eric Jones still managed to pilot the car to consecutive 10.1 second passes setting a new pump gas R35 GT-R 1/4 mile record.
