AMS Performance EVO 900X to compete in STI vs. EVO Shootout and Super Lap Battle Finals

AMS is currently sending a crew out west for the Import Tuner STI vs. EVO Shootout and the Super Lap Battle Finals. The two events will be hosted at Buttonwillow Raceway, CA on November 9^th and 10^th. At both events, we’ll be throwing our blue AMS Performance EVO 900X into the mix in an attempt to stiffen the competition.

The AMS Performance EVO 900X project began as a completely stock EVO X a few months back. Since then, it has been fitted with a mass of upgrades including the AMS EVO X Turbo Kit. This is the very same turbo kit used in the AMS Unlimited Class TA/X and Ryan Gates’ Modified Class EVO X – both of which took home the championship trophy in the 2009 Redline Time Attack Series.

The AMS Performance EVO 900X will be driven by president of AMS, Martin Musial and will be the very first opportunity for this EVO X to tear it up in any sort of road course or performance competition. Nonetheless, the entire team at AMS is thrilled to see what she’ll do on her maiden run at Buttonwillow and are confident she’ll more than hold her own at both the Shootout and final Super Lap Battle event of the year.
